They’re also shooting for 100% renewable plastic sources by 2030! All of the soft plant/leaf elements in sets right now and going forward are made out of bioplastic made from sugarcane, and they’re working on getting the regular hard plastic bricks out of that, too.
They’ve done it, actually! The full bricks are in the prototype stage now, and are expected to be 100% biodegradable without the need for a commercial compost facility. It’s very cool. Right now they’re testing the durability and playability of the bricks and seeing what needs to be revised/reworked on their final model.
75% of the time if something is paywalled, fucking around in developer mode looking for a link to the real thing or finding and deleting the content blocker works like a charm
also if ur lazy like me or just straight up cant figure out how to do this without deleting 90% of the page
which not only.. blocks popups. but also has this thing called “Remove Overlay” when u right click which works a good 99% of the time in my experience in getting rid of paywalls.
More: The toothpaste-painter, named Xiong Qingzhen, has used his bathroom mirror to paint this portrait of Audrey Hepburn. He first shared the video on Weibo, China’s version of Twitter (his username was “Flying By While Taking Photos”). Xiong has also recreated other famous faces including the Mona Lisa and Kobe Bryant in his “pasting” style of painting.
me n the girls walkin into target headed straight to the clearance bread rack
jerrod how long did it take you to photoshop all that bread
Did it the lazy easy way:
It may be less than stellar, but I have a strict personal rule: “don’t put longer than 30 minutes’ effort into a fetish joke”. The second you hit 30:01, the exposure becomes lethal and the fetish becomes unironic.
FETISH?????????
god i wish i were you
Whitch part is the fetish? Bread or Pokémon?
I’m so sorry to have to be the one to tell you this but it’s the bread
Here’s what’s happening in Australia at the moment.
For some context: Mallacoota is a tourist town, usual population is a little over 1000, but at peak tourist times, it can be as high as 8000.
There was an estimated 4000 there today, when the extreme heat, peaking at 49C/120F, combined with high winds, to spark a large, intense fire in the bushland around the area. This pretty much blocked off all ways out of the town, leading to all 4000 people being evacuated to the beach, with the emergency plan basically being “If the fire comes this way, get in the water”
Thankfully, the wind did change direction, and as far as I’ve heard, most of the town was spared, but this is how bad the drought, heat, and fire situations have become in australia.
And our government still refuses to make solid policies on climate change.
